About the School
Government Higher Secondary School, Purisai, is a co-educational institution located in a rural area and has been serving the educational needs of the community for more than six decades. The school provides quality education from the secondary to higher secondary level under the Tamil Nadu State Board and plays a vital role in shaping the future of students from Purisai and the surrounding villages. With the dedicated efforts of its teachers and the support of the local community, the school continues to promote academic excellence, discipline, and social values, empowering young minds to become responsible citizens and lifelong learners.

Human Touch
Due to limited resources and a shortage of dedicated teachers, the school has faced significant challenges and was nearly deserted. We are proud to have provided 138 notebooks to the students for the academic year 2026–2027. We remain committed to supporting government school children and ensuring they have a positive and enriching learning experience. Every donation you make helps provide essential items such as notebooks, uniforms, and chairs to children who cannot afford them. By contributing these necessities, you are making their educational journey easier, more comfortable, and more meaningful.
