About the School

Government Higher Secondary School is located in Perur, Coimbatore. 63 dedicated and professional teachers ensure that the children get the maximum out of their eduaction in this State Board school. Government Higher Secondary School was launched in 1964. The primary medium of instruction is Tamil with English as secondary medium and the student teacher ratio is 22:1. The school takes pride of its excellent teaching methodology. Students from 6 to 12 are taught in this school. This school has approximately 1415 as student strength. This school's library has 6060 books.

Human Touch

We have been successful in providing Notebooks for more than 200 students in Perur Higher Secondary school located in Perur, Coimbatore during the academic years 2023-24. We had also started a campaign on Donatekart to raise funds to provide the students with Notebooks & Uniforms for the academic years 2015-23. We continue our efforts towards helping the government schools children have a great learning experience. Every single donation that you make will help a child get a notebooks & uniform which they can’t afford.
